A note to a certain author of a certain article.
Norwich is full of great places to eat, from chain to independent restaurants. But during the summer it can be nice to grab a cheap meal to take away and enjoy sitting above the market or in the castle gardens. Here's a selective list of my favourites for you to try.
Moorish Falafel Bar
Down the lanes, you'll find plenty of foodie bits and the first three on my list are all found down the same area. At Moorish Falafel, it's pretty evident what you're gonna get; super tasty falafel wraps, pittas and salads! All made from fresh ingredients, a perfect meal if you fancy a bit of mediterranean.

Finnie's Juice Bar
From vegan satay curry to cheese straws, chilli to cinnamon rolls, this place prepares all its food with fresh ingredients and the service is excellent. Come here for something healthy in the form of a juice or a smoothie, or unhealthy like for their pizza slices.

Grosvenor Fish Bar
Fish and chips at its finest and the owner is the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. Not much more to say really!

Brick Pizza
For a yummy homemade stone cooked pizza, Brick Pizza is the place to go. With a huge selection of fresh toppings, this place is super yummy to eat out in the summer, or eat in on rainy days.

Bia Kitchen
This tasty vegan junk food stall is great value for money and had super friendly staff. Some of my faves are the mushroom benedict toastie, po boy, cajun tofu burger and beet burger.

Christophes Crepes
Pancakes with all sorts of toppings, sweet or savoury, Christophes Crepes are the place to go! Friendly service, reasonable prices, super clean and fresh ingredients - not much you could ask for!
