Today we took a drive to the east of the island and made our ascent to Salazie (one of the three cirques) and Hell Bourg (yes, I'm aware I've been before). We stopped first in Salazie to see its cathedral and Hotel de Ville, and then drove up to the closest viewpoint and had an amble round Hell Bourg. I especially wanted my parents to see the cute and quaint traditional wooden creole houses. We then drove back down to Saint-André, stopping at the viewpoint of Trop de Fer on the way.
